Georgie the humorist

These days it is not unusual to find women working as investment portfolio managers, but Georgie is a little different. It is not just a matter of her accurate and timely financials, her dedication or even her high I.Q.  Pertria’s clients expect these qualities.  What they might not expect is the way she intersperses her day with quirky insights and observations and the fact that her humor often sails over people’s heads is beside the point.  It is her way of maintaining the right brain, left brain balance. Or as Georgie puts it, the “maturity and silliness” balance.

Georgie the closet philosopher

Most things you might need to know about Georgie you can learn from her closet. It reflects how her brain is polarized. The front area for example, is filled with textbooks, computer parts and office wardrobe. Behind these are Georgie’s casual weekend wear and a new yoga mat. There are a few surprising things too, like a box of fabric swatches and sewing patterns. What does Georgie think her closet says about her?  “It says I’m responsible and borderline boring.”  Responsible and caring?  Yes.  Boring?  Never.
